Linyanti Ebony Camp lies in the remote and exclusive Chobe Enclave on the edge of the Linyanti Marshes – an interesting and rich game area wedged between the Okavango and Chobe National Park. This charming little camp has just 4 tents and offers an wide range of activities - day and night drives (with off-roading) as well as walking, boating, fishing and mokoro (water levels permitting). A small, friendly and authentic camp.
The area around Linyanti Ebony Camp includes a mix of both wet and dry landscapes attracts a multitude of animals and birds – and allows or interesting activities too. Being based on the private reserve allows greater flexibility with activities and the camp offers both day and night drives (with off-roading) as well as walking, boating, fishing and mokoro. The game viewing is best between May and October, the dry season, when the animals are attracted to the waters of the Linyanti river.
Linyanti Ebony Camp is a traditional tented camp, offering simple but comfortable accommodation. With just 4 tents (including a family tent) this is an intimate camp, and each tent is set atop wooden decks and has a private viewing deck. The rooms are simply but elegantly furnished, spacious and comfortable with twin/double beds, sofas, bedside tables and lighting, writing desks and tea/coffee stations. All rooms are en-suite. There are no fans in the rooms, though this is not an issue during the cooler months in peak season, the idea time to visit this area.
Linyanti Ebony Camp accepts children of all ages making it ideal for family safaris. Their specially designed ‘Ngwana Club’ consist of a collection of family friendly activities such as nature walks around camp, arts and crafts, cooking lessons. These and other memorable experiences have been crafted, especially with younger guests in mind to ensure fun, engaging and educational safari activities.
