These are also the most affordable options for those on a limited budget wishing to explore northern Botswana. The camping experience is certainly basic but comfortable, the true focus is on the experience and wildlife where your guide is on hand to share his expert knowledge and skills.

Bush Ways Safaris Semi Participation Camp camping safaris require limited assistance from guests, pitching their own tent and carrying their bags from and to the vehicle. All other tasks are carried out by camp staff. Tents are domed and are equipped with foam mattresses. Ablutions are shared and set up by the camp staff. Guests must provide their own drinks and to this end a trip to the shops will be made at the start of the safari to stock up as needed. Guests must also provide their own sleeping bag and pillows.

Semi-participation tours run with a maximum of 12 guests and will mean the middle seat will be used, the guide will ensure guests rotate accordingly.

For those not comfortable with semi-participation or these basic sleeping arrangements Bush Ways also offer a fully serviced safaris where all camp tasks are carried out by the camp staff. Guests are accompanied by their guide with a back up team setting up and breaking camp. Guests are accommodated in spacious en-suite tents. These bathrooms comprise shower, toilet and stand.
