Bakwena Lodge in an intimate, family run lodge on the banks of the Chobe River. The ethos of this lodge revolves around ecological sustainability and creative African architecture. Bakwena Lodge has a total of 15 rooms and guests can choose between River View Chalets spaced out along the banks of the river with large verandas or Treetop Chalets which are elevated 3.5 meters on stilts and surrounded by the tree canopy offering and extraordinary nature experience. The lodge also has a spacious and secluded family room.

All the rooms at Bakwena Lodge are tastefully furnished using natural fibers and minimalistic yet stunning décor. The rooms have in and outdoor showers, air conditioning and king sized or twin beds.  All rooms have large verandas or balconies with plenty of private seating areas to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The communal areas of the lodge include a spacious main lounge area with a dining area, outdoor fire pit and a private deck onto the river.  The lodge also creates amazing private dining locations in various places through the gardens and river front. There is also a magnificent and very picturesque natural swimming pool filtered entirely by plants.

Activities include game drives into Chobe National Park, boat cruises on the Chobe River, village visits and guided bicycle tours.
