Sandibe Under Canvas opened in March 2026, one of the newest members of the &Beyond portfolio. This intimate safari camp with only 3 tents is located in Sandibe Private Concession, an incredible game rich area just south of the Moremi Game Reserve. This camp aims to draw from the classic 1920´s safari style of a bygone era, while offering all the necessary comforts, but without the excess luxury. True to &Beyond’s reputation, guests can expect the same personalized service that define the brand.

Sandibe Under Canvas joined the &Beyond portfolio in March 2026. Embracing the classic 1920s mobile safari, this camp offers a simple yet stylish set up with all the modern comforts, each spacious canvas tent is equipped with solar-powered lighting, plug points, a standing fan and a ensuite bathroom with double shower and vanities, hot water, flushing toilets, and wifi. Tents are insect-proof and fully netted.

With just three tents in the camp, guest enjoy game drives with a maximum of 6 guests – ensuring everyone gets a window seat! Located in the private Chitabe Concession just south of the Moremi Game Reserve, it is home to a large number of resident predators such as lions, leopards, wild dogs and even cheetahs, which are found in few other areas around the Okavango, as they are drawn to the wide open flood plains common to the southern delta. This habitat is great for walking safaris as it gives extra visibility. The diverse habitat also draws semi-aquatic lechwe, kudu, giraffe as well as a wide array of birds, particularly in the summer months when they migrate from the northern hemisphere. Non-migratory birds include the elusive Pel’s fishing owl, as well as goliath heron, African jacana and pygmy-geese.

Sandibe Under Canvas offers day and night4x4 safaris, as well as walking safaris during the day. Scenic helicopter flights by prior arrangement and at an additional cost.
