Two different specials are available at Amber River Camp and Little Maru– simple tented camps set on the edge of the Okavango’s permanent waterways in a game rich and beautiful area of the Delta. These camps are offering a Stay 3 pay 2 and a complimentary helicopter transfer.  These are some of the more affordable camps in the Delta, and these offers make this exclusive region more accessible for travellers looking for an authentic, comfortable safari with excellent game viewing.

Pay 2, Stay 3: Between 9 January and 31 March (valid in both 2025 and 2026), guests booking two nights at Amber River Camp or its intimate sister property, Little Maru, will receive a complimentary third night. This offer allows you to slow down and enjoy a deeper connection with the landscape — from gliding through crystal-clear channels in a mokoro to game drives tracking lion, leopard and wild dog across the dry woodland fringes.

Complimentary Helicopter Transfer: For those staying three nights or more, a scenic one-way helicopter transfer is included in your stay — available across all seasons- low, shoulder and high season. This thrilling flight offers breathtaking aerial views of the Delta’s intricate waterways and wildlife-dotted floodplains and is available at both Amber River Camp and Little Maru. It’s a spectacular way to begin or end your safari in style.
