This year, the Delta has transformed. After the harshest drought in 40 years, the floods have returned early — and the land has responded. The bush is alive with energy, and the wildlife sightings have been nothing short of extraordinary. Elephant breeding herds carve silent paths through glistening channels. Red lechwe scatter water and light. Tree-climbing lions remain tense as two new males stir unrest. A pregnant cheetah stalks the open plains, while Phororo, a dominant male leopard, drapes himself in an ebony tree. Overhead, kingfishers and fish eagles. Below, the hippos sing.
