On arrival in Maun, Botswana, you will be met by a representative who will assist you with your onward light aircraft transfer into the Okavango Delta. A scenic flight of approximately 40 minutes brings you to the Pom Pom airstrip, where your guide from Kanana Nyana will be waiting to welcome you. From here, enjoy a gentle game drive transfer to camp, a wonderful introduction to the Delta as you make your way through the concession. Settle into Kanana Nyana for the next few nights.

After some time to relax, enjoy refreshments and be introduced to the camp and its team, you will set off on your first afternoon activity. The flight takes approximately 30 minutes, offering one final scenic view over the Delta’s channels and floodplains.

On arrival, your guide from Kwara will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to camp, a gentle game drive en route depending on sightings along the way. After settling into your room and taking some time to relax, you will meet the team and be introduced to your new surroundings.

High tea is served in the mid-afternoon as you discuss the Kwara concession and the range of activities available with your guide. Set within a private concession, Kwara offers a full spectrum of land-based safari experiences, including game drives, off-roading, night drives and guided walks. The area is particularly well known for its exceptional wildlife densities, especially predators, ensuring an exciting and dynamic safari experience.

Later in the afternoon, you will head out on your first activity at Kwara, exploring this game-rich area and beginning to familiarise yourself with its diverse landscapes.
