On arrival into Maun Airport you will be met by a representative and assisted onto your flight to Kwara, a flight of about 45 minutes. You guide will be waiting to meet and transfer you to camp, a game drive of about 20 minutes, depending on sightings along the way.
Kwara Camp is beautifully set within a private concession of the northern Okavango, surrounded by a mix of waterways, floodplains and open savannah that attract wildlife throughout the day. The tents are spacious and thoughtfully designed, each raised on wooden decking with a shaded outdoor seating area where you can relax and take in the surrounding bush. Inside, the style is classic and comfortable, with a large bed draped in mosquito netting, warm wooden furnishings and a bright, open-plan layout that leads through to an ensuite bathroom with indoor shower and freestanding bath. A peaceful and welcoming retreat to unwind between activities
After some refreshments and having been introduced to the camp and team you will set off on your afternoon activity, perhaps taking to the water to explore the surrounding waterways or a game drive to see more of the concession.
Your guide will discuss the area and your choice of activities with you and plan your days with you to ensure you make the most of your time in the Okavango.
With all activities you will make a stop at a scenic spot to toast the setting sun with a drink and some snacks before returning to camp as its gets dark, where a roaring fire and dinner await.
