Set on a private concession in the southern Okavango Delta, Kiri camp has a wonderful position below a canopy of Jackalberry trees with superb views of the floodplains whcih inevitably feature some wildife in sight. Kiri Camp, much like its sister camps, endeavours to camouflage itself within the natural environment while posing minimum human impact on the surrounding sensitive ecosystems. Accommodation at Kiri camp comprises of ten spacious luxury tents, including two family units. Each tented room is set on raised wooden decks to maximize views of the floodplains. The eight standard tents measure an impressive 73 square meters and feature either a king bed or two twin beds, while the two family tents span 140 square meters each and offer two king beds or four twins—perfect for groups or families. Every tent includes a private elevated deck, a generous en-suite bathroom, and a deep bathtub for indulgent relaxation. Interiors combine natural textures with elegant finishes, complemented by thoughtful touches such as yoga mats and Nespresso machines, ensuring guests enjoy both comfort and convenience in the heart of the wilderness.
The heart of Kiri Camp are the elegant central lounge and dining areas, designed in the classic Machaba style—open, airy spaces with natural textures and understated luxury. Meals are enjoyed on expansive wooden decks overlooking the floodplains while each evening begins and ends around the firepit under the stars, a chance to share the days experiences with other guests. The camp features a bar serving a curated selection of wines, spirits, and cocktails. Guests dine privately unless they request their guide or manager to join them. Special bush dinners and sundowner setups add a sense of adventure and romance, allowing guests to dine in the heart of the wilderness.
